Big Fish’s Sea Skeletons nominated in four SAFTA categories

Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking Cape Town campus is proud to announce that Sea Skeletons, a documentary produced and directed by Tamsyn Reynold, has been nominated for four SAFTA awards (the South African Film & Television Awards).

This charming and humorous 11 minute documentary is based on a Cape Town artist who finds the washed up debris of people's lives on beaches, and transforms them into a variety of artefacts. Monique is the impetus behind a high-end range of made-from-waste home ware, which now provides an income to a group of previously unemployed women that she works with.

Tamsyn Reynolds is a documentary editor in Cape Town who has made the move into directing with the help of Big Fish's Little Pond program.
