In celebration of The Africa Movie Academy Awards to be held in Kigali, Rwanda on the 20th of October 2018, a huge selection of filmmaking courses are offered to students wanting to be filmmakers as well as for experienced filmmakers to expand their knowledge.

Ms Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, CEO of The Africa Film Academy says 'we are bringing some of the best filmmaking educators from around the world to share expert knowledge and open opportunities for the Rwandan film industry.'

The Africa Film Academy has partnered with the highly regarded International Film and Television School of Cuba (EICTV) to run an intensive 4-day workshop by the esteemed lecturer Rebecca Roos, as well have representatives from the film school participate in round table discussions.

During the 4 days, several other workshops and round table discussion will be hosted by experts in the field of animation, cinematography, make up and distribution.

Ms Peace continues 'we are also honored by the participation of Smith Global Media, which is run by Will Smith's younger brother to discuss films distribution at the African Business Roundtable in Kigali'.
