You are responsible for all areas of shoot planning, from start to finish, you get your team through every area of production, putting together shooting schedules, location managing, booking cast and crew, organising permits, transport, craft, assisting the directors on set, facilitating smooth running of all other departments. You work closely with the producer to keep your team keep your team in budget and on target.
You are an organisational geek. Nothing happens in your life that is not mapped out, colour coded and in alphabetical order. Your friends call on you to plan their weddings, birthday parties. You are a problem solver and love logistics.
You have grit, creativity, determination, skill and talent that go beyond what is easily defined by a cover letter/CV or job description. Just as your abilities go way beyond what your CV can ever capture so does the scope of the position. You go above and beyond.
