The TV Studio provides equipment, facilities, technical support, training and production services to students and other clients. Applications are invited for the post of Chief Technical Officer responsible for the operation of the TV Studio.
Day to day running of TV Studio activities
Management of TV staff
Management and upkeep of TV Studio facilities and infrastructure
Oversight of video and audio production
Duplications and format conversions
Diploma or degree in video technology, film production, electronic engineering, project management or field relevant to job description
At least 5 years professional experience in video, film or studio production
Experience with multi-camera studio production
Management or project management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage and work collaboratively with others
Ability to receive instruction and delegate to others
Strong work ethic and desire to deliver high quality work on time
The following will be advantageous: Teaching experience, desire for continuous learning, experience of working in a diverse team, experience with preparing cost estimates and managing budgets, an understanding of the film and/or television industries and a desire to remain abreast of their technical developments.
